I have been purchasing this scent for years and years and their new formula has left me with a headache it’s so bad. Luckily Amazon has the best customer service ever and helped me out. I disliked their “new and improved fragrance” so much I had to write the the company. Maybe if enough people do it they will make the old scent again. This is what I wrote to the company:

I recently purchased my refills of lavender chamomile scented oil refills with the text “New and improved fragrance” and I’m sorry it’s not improved, it’s terrible. I have been purchasing the lavender chamomile refills since 2003 and sadly if you continue with this formula I will have to take my purchases to the Glade lavender vanilla. Your new refills smell nothing like lavender, it is a sickly sweet smelling floral scent. I have read similar reviews on Amazon. Please bring back the scent we know and love. It is far superior to this “New and improved fragrance”.

I can only hope that Airwick will get more feedback like this and make us longtime customers happy.——⭐

Like many others, I’ve bought these lavender chamomile refills forever. I love them so Much Ive been buying in bulk for years now. I didn’t see the reviews because I’m so familiar with the product, it’s become a trusted staple in my house. I bought 5 packs and as soon as I opened one, I thought I got the wrong scent. Nope, they’ve changed the formula and it’s terrible! Sickening sweet and nothing resembling lavender or the old recipe. Going to try and return. Very sad, I now know have to start over and find a new “go to” air freshener. Seeing how this new scent is nothing close to the original, I hope air wick changes back to the old formula based on all the complaints I’m sure they’ve gotten.——⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this fragrance. I had a really gross college roommate last year and regardless of the trash she refused to take out or the leftovers left sitting on her desk, this Glade plug in scent saved the day. I absolutely love this scent. My friend used to use this in her house, which is how I know about it. Now, I’m not gonna lie, when I look at the picture, and hear the name, I’m not drawn to the product. I don’t love the woods, nor do I like pine cones… other than for using for cute little projects at school that parents keep far too long…

ANYWAY… this scent is strong, but not overwhelming, and actually makes my house smell great. I have it in 2 plug ins in my house- 1 in the hall bathroom and 1 in the front entrance way. I also have 3 plug ins from another brand… the one that rights with “Chair-thick”… and… well, I can hardly smell those. I think in the future I’ll skip that brand and keep going back to Glade… especially this scent.

Hopefully this helps if you’re trying to decide on a scent. There is nothing “pine”-y about this scent. It smells a little musky maybe… like a perfect smell for the winter time.——⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The scent smells amazing, kind of like when you are outside and you walk by someone’s house and you can smell that they are doing laundry. My mother comes over to my house and she says she can smell the scent 5 feet before she hits the front door and my sister-in-law told me that my garage smelled like crazy amazing… crazy amazing enough, I don’t have one in my garage. The Airwick plug in has 5 different settings that controls how strong the scent is. In my living room and bigger areas I put the setting on 3 so that it pumps enough snuggle scent out to cover the entire space, but in smaller rooms like bedrooms, I have it on the lowest setting. I have noticed that in smaller areas, the scent does get trapped and becomes a little too strong. After a little bit, you do get used to the smell. I turned mine up a little bit so that I could smell it again. I went on vacation and came back and my house almost choked me out. I would keep that in mind for company. I wouldn’t turn them up because just because you can’t smell it, doesn’t mean your guests won’t. These plug ins don’t last as long as I would like, that is why I am giving it 4 stars. If you have the setting on 3 or higher, they only last like 2 weeks. If you have it lower, I would say about 3. I do have one of these plug ins near my closet, and when I have gone on trips and opened my bag, I can DEFINITELY smell the snuggle scent has gotten to my clothes. I don’t really mind though, because it smells like clean laundry, so it is a win win.——⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am not into air scented plugs until I got a dog. I could not stand the dog smell in my house and I clean and mopp often and still it smelled like dog. So, I had no choice and chose this fragrance because it did not smell artificial like all the other scents. I keep it on low but I noticed the glass the air wick scent sits in is so thick that the scent does not last long enough. They don’t give you enough of the liquid scent in the glass container.——⭐

Bought the “Fresh waters” scent, I have 2 brand new Air Wick units and I tried multiple refills from the package, however neither of them were releasing any scent even on the highest setting. It also evaporates in a matter of days. The scent I bought in the store and not from here works just fine. Highly unsatisfied, I just put money down the drain so you don’t have to. The bottles came partially filled, and not in brand packaging. They arrived in a cardboard box, not in original packaging… draw your own conclusion. I pulled a new bottle from an original package bought elsewhere (clear in the photo) and sat it next to the Hawaiian scent purchased from this seller (orange colored liquid in the photo) and you can see the difference in the lack of fluid in these Hawaiian scented bottles. I am surprised as this was an “Amazon Choice” recommendation. I think they might need to reconsider!——⭐⭐

The only thing I would say could be changed about this product is the price. I’ve been buying and using only the Apple Cinnamon Medley scent. My most recent purchase has the right color, and the jars look to be correctly labeled, but the scent is all wrong! There is no apple or cinnamon smell, and I would not call the smell a “medley,” it’s more like a bad batch of fragrances dumped altogether. I would describe this horrible scent as heavy, heavy vanilla.

I’ve opened up every single unit of the five pack, and each one reeks as soon as I take off the cover.

Either they made the Apple Cinnamon Medley with the wrong fragrances and labeled it correctly, or they changed the formula which has no apple or cinnamon smell anymore and reeks of vanilla.

These are going right into the trash as the smell gives me a headache even on the lowest setting.——⭐

My dog got sick and this made my house smell of rotten apples and vinegar! After 3 weeks using this refill scent my house began to smell like rotten apples or vinegar. I tore apart my pantry believing some thing spoiled . This smell lingered for about a week until I remembered the only real change in my house was the new scent . I pulled them out and saw a wierd film and crystal deposits in containers. I took a good wiff and I found the rotten apple smell.

Even my company could smell this strong disgusting smell . One of the worst purchases I made . What ever they used to make this scent goes rotten after a few weeks . There was a little less than 1/2 of the fluid left ….so its not worth the money .

My dog got sick a few weeks ago . He got so sick I had to put him down. He coughed and coughed and it was only when he was inside my house . It came on all of a sudden about a week after plugging these in .

Coughing weakened his trachea and he was chocking. I had to put him down . I’m praying this wasn’t the the smell wasn’t what gave him the cough.

He was a Pomeranian and , you can’t have strong smells in house or this happens . I have used other odor unliminators for years with my pomeranian this was the 1st time he had problems . I forgot i had these plugged in. I wished I had figured it out in time. It only took 2 weeks and he went from healthy to deadly sick .
